Our lakeside lodge with outside bath sleeps up to 4 guests in two en suite bedrooms and is nestled within 6 acres of meadows and woodland, surrounded by abundant wildlife. It is the perfect setting for a romantic and tranquil getaway.
The lodge is situated on the banks of our old trout fishery where guests can enjoy the privacy of their own secluded lake to while away their time. Whether it be reading in the company of kingfishers or warming up in the evening by the firepit next to the waters edge, relaxation is guaranteed. Since the demise of the trout fishery, this lake also now contains small Tench & Crucians.
FISHING ON THE MERE - BOOKING ESSENTIAL
Any Lodge guests wishing to book fishing at the adjacent Rocklands Mere Fishery can do so by emailing rocklandsmerefishery@gmail.com. We would ask any guests looking to fish the Mere during their holiday to please email first to ensure availability during the season. The Mere is a completely separate entity and due to day ticket bookings as well as exclusive lake bookings we cannot guarantee there will be availability during your stay.
It is also worth noting that due to the species present and essential maintenance required, the Mere closes during the Winter months.
